THE GOLEM film by Paul Wegener, music by NLF3 & ERIC MINKKINEN
(Germany,1920, 60')
Creation at Paris Cite de la Musique in 2012

The film brings to life the Golem, one of the most haunting figures from Jewish lore, dating back to 16th Prague. A Rabbi in the ghetto creates a figure from clay and brings it to life to protect the Jewish community from the mounting threat outside its walls. A tale of prophecy, lust and monsters -not to be missed.
